I have wanted Eureka Altima Vacuum cleaner for months and then I finally bought it. It picked up my pet hair and all dust in my home better than any vacuum cleaner I had ever come across, it was easy to clean and maintain. Then one day I heard a loud noise and saw some smoke and it appeared the belt had snapped, in addition the brush mount had melted and worst of all Eureka reps told me I wasn’t covered under the warranty.
All in all it would have cost me more to repair the machine than was worth so I cut my losses and got rid of it, I guess I was just unlucky but it put me off.
I have had several friends who have been looking to purchase the same Eureka Altima bagless vacuum as me and I have told them the truth but I have also told them that I was probably unlucky as many people seem to be giving the product decent reviews.

I purchased this particular vacuum after my Hoover windtunnel vacuum gave out and I must say that I have been extremely impressed with the vacuum cleaner so far, the price was good and the quality is even better. Overall it does the job and cleans really really well, it’s also quieter than most vacuums I have used as well. The only downside is that the cleaning wand tends to detach itself if you bump into anything but this isn’t too much of a problem, the cleaning power makes up for it.

Since we focus on industrial use vacuum cleaners, it\’s great to find a solid review like this for a home-use HEPA vacuum.
Thanks so much for sharing this info on the Eureka Altima with us.

Don’t buy this vacuum! instead of having a solid brushroll, this model has a removable cap on the belt end, it’s plastic and it melts and breaks (this is my third break in 24 months) the manufacture does not sell just the removable cap instead you must buy the whole brushroll for $25.00.
