The Hoover F5914 900 Steamvac is an extremely powerful machine and is one of the most powerful in the Hoover steam cleaner range. The cost of the cleaner isn't that expensive and infact it will cost you just as much to rent a steam cleaner of this quality than it will to actually buy one.
The Hoover steam cleaner is perfect for most floors and surfaces including rugs, upholstery and bare floors (with the exception of hardwoods), it will keep them looking like new.
The cleaner has a very powerful 12 amp motor which drives 5 cleaning brushes which operate at variable speeds which enable it tot work at it's optimum on all surfaces, removing deep dirt and grime. With the pull of one leaver the cleaner releases its cleaning fluid and water onto the surface you are cleaning. If you encounter a particularly stubborn area of dirt then there is a boost function which will release an extra amount of cleaning fluid and water onto the surface in a blast like motion to remove any remaining particles. Once you have completed your cleaning you simply release the trigger mechanism and a blast of hot air is forced onto the surface, drying the area you have just cleaned.
If you have any stair ways to clean or hard to reach places then don't worry because the Hoover f5914 900 Steamvac comes complete with an 8 foot long hose and a special nozzle which is perfect for stairs and upholstery, you can truly do a thorough job.
During the cleaning process the clean water and the dirty water are stored separately from each other and the detergent is automatically mixed with the clean water as you go, saving you from getting your hands wet. Once you have completed your clean you can simply remove and easily empty the dirty water tank down the sink.

The Hoover F5914 900 steamvac cleans carpets very well indeed. On the worst area of flooring I had it did as well as any other commercial equivalent I have used in the past.
It still isn’t easy work and you will have to go over some stains and dirt marks again but you have to with the pro cleaners as well so I certainly wouldn’t say that this was a downside by any means.

So far I have been very happy with my new Hoover F5914-900 Steam Vac. This is the first time I have actually bought a steam cleaner rather than renting one and I never though it would be possible to own one for this price which does as good a job as the professional cleaners out there. I have a few pets in my house and after a mornings work the smell is gone from my home and so are the stains. An A1 cleaner.
