Bissell Steam Mop Hard-Floor Cleaner Review

Loading ...
The Bissell steam mop has to be the best Bissell steam cleaner around in their range today. It has been designed specifically for use with hard surface floors using just water, there are no expensive cleaners or chemicals needed to have this working and cleaning to the best of it’s ability.
Once you are ready to clean, the Bissell steam mop can be turned on and ready to use within 30 seconds, steam is dispensed on demand in a similar way to an iron when you press the leaver. The mop removes hardened dirt and grime from the hard floor, if you are cleaning a very messy area then you may need to hold of the steam mop over the area for a few seconds to achieve maximum effect. You can clean for up to 15 minutes before having to stop momentarily to refill the water tank but by that time you will find you have managed to clean most of the area anyway.
This Bissell steam cleaner has a swivel head which allows it to reach into the hardest to access areas, like under the table or the sideboard. It is also lightweight and easy to maneuver so you don’t need to worry about getting it around your home.
The Bissell steam mop has had many positive reviews from home owners across America for being the simplest and easiest to use steam mop on the market today.

It worked okay, for a while :(

The first time I used this mop I would have told you that it was the best thing since sliced bread! After a few uses, it didn't seem to steam as much and it only steamed if you held down the trigger. At this point I was starting to become disapointed in the product. After about a 12 uses, it just died. Just completely stopped. Red light off. Dead. I never used anything other than distilled water, per the manufacturers instructions. Unfortunately, it's no longer under warranty. I won't be purchasing this lemon again.

The first time you use the product, the pad becomes black from the plastic at the bottom of the device. The black does not come off in the wash. Although the red light indicates that the device is ready, it takes a long time for the device to emit steam. The other issue is that if you are only using distilled water, is the floor really clean? It is easier to use than a mop but again I am not sure how clean you are really getting the floor.
